テッドマンのキャラクターの元祖はアメリカのTattoo(タトゥー)とされていますが、さらにさかのぼると大戦中の米軍の部隊のマスコット(レッドデビル)がルーツと言われています。

悪運を吹き飛ばしラッキーを手に入れると言う神話は軍人が士気を高め、無事に帰還できる事を願った思いが込められていたようです。

当時、このテッドマンのキャラクターのルーツである悪魔小僧のTATTOOが、口から噴き出す炎により、邪鬼を吹き飛ばし身に付けている者にラッキーを招く！と云う噂が伝承され、このTATTOOをバイカーやロッカーなどアングラ系の若者達がこぞって腕や肩に刺しました。

そのエフ商会(Efu-Shokai)のTEDMAN'S(テッドマンズ)レーベルのカスタムMA-1フライトジャケットです(メンズ ミリタリージャケット)です。

この製品は、MA-1をモチーフにしたボディでアメリカンミリタリースタイルを踏襲しつつも、エフ商会によってタウンユース用にアレンジされた中綿ジャケットです。

テッドマン(ラッキーデビル)グラフィックデザインのパッチ＋刺繍カスタム、現代的なシルエット、縫製を取り入れ、カジュアルのテイストをプラスした街着として洗練されたファッショナブルなデザインに仕上げられています。

従来のMA-1より、軽量で着心地もよい快適なジャケットに仕上げられています。

サイズは日本サイズで、シルエットは、身幅が広めで着丈が短めに仕上げられたボックスシルエット(ボクシー・ライン)です。

表地はナイロン100%のヘビーナイロンツイル生地です。

しなやかで柔らかな肌触りと、深みのある光沢をもったナイロン生地です。

裏地は滑りのよいポリエステル生地で、インナーウェアとの摩擦を考慮した袖通しの良い生地です。

表地と裏地の間には中綿が詰められ、防寒性・保温性が高められています。

襟と袖口と裾部分は、しっかりとしたダブルレイヤー(二重)リブで切替えられています。

袖口のリブは織りの組成をローゲージからハイゲージに変えることで程よいフィット感を生み出します。

フロントはファスナー開閉式です。

ジッパーのスライダーにはテッドマン刻印入りのレザーの引手が付けられ、バイクのグローブなどをしていても開閉がしやすくなるようにされています。

ジッパーの後にはジグザグステッチ入りの比翼(ストームフラップ)が付き、ジッパーから漏れた風が侵入してくるのを防いでくれるつくりになっています。

ポケット数は5つです。

ウエスト部分に斜めに口が開いたスナップボタン留めのポケット×各1、左袖にエマージェンシーキット(ペンホルダー付きシガレットポケット)×1、両身頃内側ににサイドに口が開いたスナップボタン留め内ポケット×各1です。

スナップボタンにはテッドマン刻印入りのメタルボタンが使用されています。

左胸付近のジップ脇には、酸素マスクのホースをクリップで固定する目的のナイロン製オキシジェンタブが、両脇にはICSコードループが配され、MA-1のデザイン性、機能性も再現されています。

両胸と右袖にはワッペンパッチ、左袖にはエアフォースマーク(USアーミーエアフォースショルダースリーブインシグニアデカール)プリント、背中にはパッチと刺繍がほどこされています。
